The Optimist Difference - A Way Of Life

The Cerritos Optimist Club was formed in 1970 as a service organization in the community. The primary objective is to provide youth with organized programs and promote their self-development through these programs. We are part of Optimist International which has over 80,000 members in clubs all over the USA and other countries. Optimist International headquarters is located in St. Louis Mo.

We currently have 81 members and  meet 4 times per month.
 

Please note that there are no administrative salaries in the Optimist Club and all members volunteer to support youth programs. All of the funds we raise are invested in the youth of our community.
